WhatsApp Message Templates are similar to that of Canned Responses and also located within the same section, albeit they need to be approved by WhatsApp via Genesys. Additionally, if the Interaction is over 24 hours old then
only these Templates can be used to respond to the interaction, no free text nor canned responses can be used to respond to the interaction until the customer responds to the Template.
To utilize the Templates, simply complete the form and submit to Genesys who will in turn respond with the required detail to create this on your Org.
Genesys currently does not support pro-active outbound contact via WhatsApp however there is an idea which Genesys are aiming
