Subject: Wildcards or partial value search in Interactions view?
Hello Dave,
You are correct, this is a limitation with the Performance workspace search when it comes to partial or wildcard searches. Based on the documentation, partial field searching is only available for ANI and DNIS fields, even then its limited.
Search patterns like "Agent*" doesn't really work and isnt supported. The system requires exact matches for most fields, including the remote field.
I believe you can work around this limitation by knowing the exact Remote field value you are looking for and/or exporting the data to analyze it in a different tool that supports wildcard searching. I believe Excel has this feature.
Also this sounds like an awesome feature enhancement and many customers agree. It looks like there is an idea for this currently. I went and voted for it and I recommend you do as well. As I can see the value in searching with wildcards.
Hope this helps!

Subject: Wildcards or partial value search in Interactions view?
I've searched the Community posts to see if anyone else has asked about this, but I'm not finding anything. Maybe I just don't know what to search for. That fits right in with the topic of this post.
I'm looking at the Interactions view in the Performance Workspace. There are a bunch of calls that I want to see the details for. I know the 'Remote' field on those calls is in the format of 'Agent Lastname - 1234' where 1234 is their extension. I don't know all of their names and extensions, though, so I want to just look for Agent* in the Remote field. I looked through the documentation and see that there is very limited partial field searching on the ANI and DNIS fields, but it that's about it. Am I missing something?
