  • 1.  Workspace Preferences- Queue Activity Detail

    Good Morning WEM Community!

    I have a few saved views for my workspace. I am having trouble getting it to 'remember' that I do not want to see skills or media type. So each day I have to filter to remove those. Any tips on how to avoid that? It's less cluttered and the skills/media type don't change how I manage the team. Thanks in advance for any tips!

    Hi Cherri, it's intended for those columns to be remembered, so it looks like we've introduced a bug that's caused that to stop working! I've written up a ticket for the development team to take a look at it and get it addressed. I apologize for the regression. Thanks for reporting this!

    Hi Cherri,

    I wanted to follow up on this issue to make sure we're trying to solve the right thing, because there are a few different scenarios.

    • While you have a view open in a tab, the columns you have selected should be saved, even when you close the browser and come back.
    • If you save a tab and open it later, the columns you have selected should be saved and restored.
    • If you navigate to the Workspace landing page and select Queues Activity again and drill into a queue, we wouldn't expect those column settings to be restored, because for some queues, users may want to see different columns.

    We recommend utilizing the saved tabs functionality to maintain your column preferences. If that is not working, please let me know and we'll make sure we get that quickly fixed. I hope that helps!

    Sorry for the late reply. I did have the view saved however it wasn't opening it that way. After your post, I decided to delete the saved view and make a new one. I have done one test of closing and reopening- so far it is opening the way it should! Maybe that is all that needed to be done. Will let you know if it starts to not. Have a great day!
