  • 1.  can't install SIP server

my system requirements is right and the framework is installed properly and i created and configured an application object of SIP Server type, but the setup.exe can be opened only through command line, and the installation wouldn't complete.

The message is pretty clear - there is no object of type TServer related to that host within your current Genesys configuration. Check the configuration or create the object properly.

    HTH!

thanks for reply, i checked the SIP server app object, and it is configured correctly and the configuration server port in the installation wizard of sip server is right, but it keeps showing the same error message.

Check the confserv log, they will help you to find out the root-cause (my opinion is incorrect configuraiton).

Yes, is your SIP app linked to right host (where you are trying the installation)? What says confserv log?

yes it is linked to the localhost where i configured and installed all my Genesys components, and the confeser log doesnot mention anything about the SIP failed attempt to connect to it, i tried to install a different version of the sip server and it shows the same message.

shall i set the tenant option in the SIP app object to Environment?

In case, the confserv log does not contain any information related to that - this seems like incorrect configuration during the install wizard or something like that.
