unable to connect GMS on web port

  • 1.  unable to connect GMS on web port

    While implementing SSL for GMS, https port was changed in jetty-https.xml but GMS is unable to start on that port. Also same port was added as web_port.
    Error can be seen in the log which says "Unable to conncet to GMS on port ####"
    The port is not blocked by firewall. Please suggest any measure to troubleshoot as this is critical.

    What says GMS or Jetty logs?

    As per GMS log: unable to contact GMS on port (****). Please check web_port option in GMS Configuration.
    Web_port is configured in GMS option.
    Service UI is working and even application is running but this error persists in the log.

    Please provide more detail. Are you getting an error? If so, where do you see the error? (Logs, browser, etc..) is this a new or existing install of GMS?

    Hi Jhon,


    We have an installation that works well with http. But when installing a new application on another server, exclusive for https. We get the error "[GMScheduler-36] Unable to contact GMS on port (8443). Please check web_port option in GMS Configuration "in the GMS logs.

    We have made the suggested changes in the documentation, but we get the error mentioned.

    If we perform the installation by default http, this works well on the new server. The error arises when we configure HTTPS.

    Double checking that you've updated your jetty config as per: Documentation:GMS:Deployment:SecurityandAccessControl:8.5.2 - Genesys Documentation and not just enabled it in the application settings in the config layer?
