    we have a platform of 8.1 we would like to upgrade to 8.5 so does it require 8.5 licence files

    Hi,
    You would not need any new license features with 8.5.  So, you should be ok to proceed with the upgrade.  Just keep in mind that LRM is now a requirement with 8.5.

    Are there any guides that outline the upgrade to Framework 8.5 from 8.1 in a short concide order.  I've been reading the Migration Guide wish there was a step by step.

    We're trying to update confserv due to a bug in file descriptors (uLimit) and are evaluating going to 8.5 versus the latest 8.1

    How hard is it to install LRM?  What else is needed and how hard is it? to install those?
