  • 1.  Arabic Support - Chat

    If my current Chat solution has to support Arabic language, does it require any explicit handling from the application side?  Does chat server or any other Genesys system apart from CME have any problem handling Arabic data?  
    Should the messages from Agent Desktop/Client be encoding to any other formats before sending it to the other party ?

    Hi Gangadhar,
     You need to ensure that Universal Contact Server can handle Arabic encoding. You may need to modify the java parameters of UCServer service to support the language properly. Besides Database collation should be able handle Arabic too.
