Genesys Interactive Insights 8.1.3
New features provided in Genesys Interactive Insights (GI2) 8.1.3 include the following:
The BusinessObjects platform has been upgraded from SAP BusinessObjects (BO) XI 3.1 SP6 to SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (BI) 4.1 SP2. The following changes support this upgrade:
- New installation scripts are provided.
- A new process is provided for migrating your custom universe and reports.
- A new BI 4.1 tool (Information Design Tool) is provided for customizing the GI2 8.1.3 Universe.
- The GI2 Universe is migrated from the UNV format to the UNX format.
The GI2 report basic user group is added in this release along with the added GI2 report basic access level. In addition, the rights for the report viewer user group have been expanded.
Hidden universe elements are now described in GI2 documentation.
Important:
You may have received installation disks for both SAP BusinessObjects (BO) XI 3.1 and SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (BI) 4.1.
To deploy GI2 8.1.3, install BI 4.1. Do not install BO XI 3.1 with GI2 8.1.3.
