Recently introduced Shift Bidding within one of our teams, and all appears to be fine, with one exception...

there are defined meetings attributed to teams within the unit, configured to run as part of the schedule build, however when we use the Shift Bidding Scenario we can not get the meetings to be included in the schedule?

Is it something that has to be done at the build stage - but I cant see how as its generic shifts until they are assigned at the end of the bidding process.

If it has to be done on teh final publish stage, once you select 'Insert Granted Items' option this only appears to cover off on leave - so you miss the meetings option?

    Emer,

This issue you are experiencing has to due with the fundamental nature of Shift Bidding.
When you are building a Schedule Scenario to be used in a Shift Bid, you are building that either using Agent-based Profiles or Contract-based Profiles.   Regardless of which you use, Profile schedules never look at Calendar items.  Calendar items (Time Off, Meetings, etc) are actual agent-based, whereas Profiles are not.  Profile schedules never take into consideration Calendar items since there is no way of knowing in advance which agent will get which schedule until the agent has made their ranking selections and the bid association has been completed.

The best way to get the Meetings into the agent's schedule once the bid is complete is to either do it during the Publishing phase of the schedule, or optimize them post-associating with the Meeting Scheduler function.

    Does this help?
