What could be the options in scheduling some on as follows :

Contract is for 37.5 hours over 5 days.
The shift in use will need to schedule 35 hours over the week leaving the other 2.5 hours as flexible - to be added to a day when needed.

Is there a way this can be built ?

Are they able to work any of the 7 days in a week?
What are the times when the 35 hours that must be worked should be worked?
What are the available times for the 2.5 flexible hours can be worked?

I've asked the user for a bit more information.

Contract would be 5/7 days - any days of week

Extra hours
- This could be at the start/end of a normal day or added up and worked together on a day off (banking the hours and working a full day up to a certain point).
- This would be arranged probably the week before depending on demand.

So it sounds like you want WFM to generate a weekly schedule that is only 35 hours long and the allow an admin/supervisor to manually insert the additional 2.5 hours in segments throughout the week?

Yes, the additional 2.5 hours will be added at some point during the week or it may be accummulated and become 5 hours one week for instance up to a certain limit.
