  • 1.  Genesyslab.Platform.Commons 8.1.3 incompatible with .Net framework 4

    Created a new project, tried to add a reference to Genesyslab.Platform.Commons and I get an error message that says, Platform.Commons 8.1.300.30 is incompatible with .NET 4.  I know this is not true.  I have an older (9 months) that uses both Genesyslab.Platform.Commons and .Net 4.  Can anyone point in the right direction to resolve this issue.

    Hello,

    It sound like assembly version related problem.

    Starting from 8.1.200.50 version the Platform SDK and Application Blocks for .NET supports .NET Framework 4.5.

    What version of "Visual Studio" you are using?  Try to browse to the physical file (full path of dll) to add it as a reference.

    I ended up creating a case for this issue.  The problem occurred in Visual Studio 2010/.NET 4.0.  Issue resolved.
