We have a single tenant multiple sites Genesys environment at a customer. This site is also redundant on Avaya Telephony end. Genesys applications at Site one are integrated with Avaya applications on Site 1 while Genesys applications at Site two are with Avaya applications on Site 2. We need to implement failover on Agent end so that if any site goes down, agents should continue their operations without any delay.
In order to achieve this we have created a test environment with Avaya Phone 4848 having a single place 4848 with Genesys DN 4848 at site 1 and 4848 or 4848_ls at site 2(tested with both the names mentioned). The issue is that AIL based client application prompts that they receive two DNs at the time registration and therefore unable to logs in.
Can you please advise if it is possible to create a single DN on both site having a same name so that client application login smoothly.
