For your question, following are the options.

    1) SCS can send an Email as alarm reaction and that can be delivered as SMS.

    2) Run OS command, the command can send SMS.

Note: The 'OS Command' is referring to creating an Alarm Reaction Script that uses the 'Execute OS Command' reaction type to launch some custom executable or shell script.

The executable or shell script would have to be developed by the customer, and could be coded as per the requirement.

    3) If SNMP monitoring server is already in use, SNMP trap can also be sent.

I suggest you to refer "Framework 7.6 Management Layer User's Guide" for the following topics for detailed information.

---> How to Configure Alarm Conditions and Alarm Reactions
---> Alarm Reactions of the OS Command Type
---> E-Mail Alarm-Signaling Interface and Alarm Reactions of the E-Mail Type

All carriers have MMS email addresses that you can send a email to and recieve as a MMS message.  Then just simply add it as another email address in your alarm reaction script.

    mobile-number@vzwpix.com
    mobile-number@mms.att.net
    mobile-number@pm.sprint.com
confirm with your cell phone carrier for the proper address.
