Hi @David Quiram, Genesys does not have native ringless voicemail drop, but this is something you may be able to build out yourself using Genesys data actions connected to a third-party ringless voicemail API like Drop Cowboy or Slybroadcast.
The way it would work is you set up a data action in Genesys that fires an HTTP POST to the provider's REST API. Drop Cowboy, for example, has a well-documented API where you pass the recipient's phone number in E.164 format, your API credentials, and either a recording ID or a direct URL to an MP3 or WAV file. That is really all it takes on the API side, and it is one of the simpler data actions you could build. From the agent side, you could wire this up to a button in an agent script, so after finishing a donor call, the agent clicks one button, and the thank-you message gets deposited directly into the donor's voicemail without their phone ever ringing.
Pricing on these platforms is very low. Drop Cowboy runs around $0.004 per message, which makes it pretty practical for a donor outreach use case at scale.

One thing worth mentioning, just in case, ringless voicemail is regulated under TCPA, and the FCC ruled in 2022 that it counts as a call requiring prior express consent. For existing donors who have already engaged with your organization, you likely have that relationship established, but worth making sure your legal team is aligned before rolling it out, since penalties can be significant.
This is not something we have built out ourselves, but the API is well-documented, and the Genesys data action path seems very viable as a starting point

Subject: Direct to Voicemail for Outbound Calls
There is an iOS app called "WhatCall" that allows you to call a number and go direct to their voicemail. Is there anything like that for Genesys? Our team that handles donations and contributions would like to use a feature like that so they can leave thank you messages with people.
Anyone working on anything like that?
