AppFoundry: The Genesys Marketplace Experience

I see that there are some App Foundry items that would help with customer integration and automating their Outbound Contact List imports. Are there cases where the functionality in the App Foundry applications become standard features rolled into Genesys Cloud CX? Especially since they are Genesys Apps already in the App Foundry.

I don't think implementing specific functions developed by Genesys partners in AppFoundry directly into Genesys Cloud would make the AppFoundry partners happy.

Sure Genesys is implementing many improvements in every release, but in case a specific function is missing within GC and would be highly appreciated by the customers, then use the IDEA portal and propose the new funcionality.

But if you are interested only in specific Contact List import integrations/automations, then maybe developing a simple App on customer side would be cheaper and easier to fit the customer's needs exactly.
