  • 1.  Windows QoS Policy - Genesys Softphone

    Has any one setup or configured Genesys Softphone in their Windows QoS policy.

    Can you provide what configuration options you used such as:

    how are the voice packets tagged (numbering??)

    What ports did you use?

    I'm new to this so looking for help/suggestions to prioritize the application and voice packets.

    Hi Yes, done this many times.

    Create a group policy for 5060/TCP QOS AF31 26 this is for sip signalling of your sip endpoint, you could do the same for wde connections as well .
    For voice traffic 16384-32768/UDP QOS EF 46 for voice packets

    All of this depends on your config, you could also just do this at the network switch.
