Is there anyway to Answer a call using the converstation API? I have tried setting the state to "connected" but to no avail

    Hi,

If you are using WebRTC, please see the following forum post: https://developer.genesys.cloud/forum/t/answering-inbound-calls-via-js-sdk-with-webrtc-station/7026

I did review the article, however I am not sure what is meant by "dummy call" and did Genesys provide and direction as this seems a bit of a kludge?

I believe the person that said "dummy call" in that post meant to just place a call to test that it works, as opposed to going on queue and taking a customer call or something.

If you've followed the steps in that post and it's still not working, please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate as that is all that is required to place a call when using a WebRTC station.
