Is there any technical limitation in updating user profile home address in Genesys? What I heard is that the employee is the only person who can do those things? I wanted to know if we have right access then can we update agent home address for existing or new employees?

It is not accurate that only users can update their profile. If you have these permissions below, you can update other's profiles.
- directory:user:edit
- directory:organization:admin
