Vacationing in Florida is a LOT different from living here. The constant tourism traffic, everything is so expensive, and the lack of seasons is really tiring.
I am excited - though my husband already started work last week so the bulk of the move has been left to me. I just dropped him back off at the airport. He won't be home until Saturday night (late). The movers will be here Saturday morning between 10 am and 2 pm so I have to make sure the rest of the house is packed tonight since I promised my parents I would spend Thursday with them.
I love setting up a place but packing it is for the birds!

I currently live at the beach (Florida beach chickens are talking outside my window right now) but by this time next week we will have moved towards the mountains in Tennessee. I am a mountain girl and my husband is a beach boy so I guess it is my turn after 25 years. No more cold tile and sand everywhere. No more sweating 345 days a year. Actual seasons are awaiting me this year!
