What would be the best option: Visio? Draw.io? Confluence?

For fast adjustment or design, Draw.io. But I really like Confluence for organization.

For flow diagrams, I'm used to draw.io.

I personally like Confluence, especially because you can keep the documentation organized in one place and also embed Draw.io diagrams directly into the page.

For me, this makes the documentation easier to maintain, review, and share with the team/customer. So I would probably go with Confluence + Draw.io embedded.

I personally use Draw.io quite a bit for flow mapping/technical diagrams and Confluence for the overall documentation, requirements, and handover information.

In my opinion, the choice between Draw.io and Visio depends a lot on the tools your company already uses.

If the company is strongly based on the Microsoft ecosystem, Visio can work very well, especially when multiple people need to edit the same diagram at the same time.

I have tried collaborative editing with Draw.io before, and in my experience it did not always synchronize as smoothly, which sometimes caused data or changes to be lost.

On the other hand, Draw.io is very flexible and adapts well to both Google and Microsoft environments, which makes it a good option when teams use different toolsets.

So I think there is not one single best option. It depends on the company's ecosystem, how many people need to collaborate, how often the diagrams are updated, and where the documentation is maintained.
