    Hello Beta Community,

    The Genesys Cloud Embedded Integrations team is pleased to announce that enrollment for our beta has begun! 

    Agents can now use this New Interaction Window UI with an improved multi panel experience.

     

    🎯 What's included:

    It will be a new permission that can be added to a user/role. Once enabled the new view is loaded.

    Visually it looks good, but I'm wondering if this is a missed opportunity to better optimize the limited screen space. In the video, you can see both chat and email content, but neither resizes effectively to make full use of the compact layout. If we zoomed out to around 80%, the content would still be legible while allowing more to be visible, creating a more balanced experience.

    Also, when we switched between interaction, the loading of the content seems slow. Would optimization such as preloading the content make the experience bit more snappy.

    I understand that this view has limited screen space and we have kept that in mind, but we must also consider customers accessibility needs. For compliance reasons, text and content must be kept at a defined and readable size. 

    Email and web messaging components (as well as all components) have been pressure tested to ensure its smallest size possible, but not to remove key functionality from view.

    We allow this view to increase in size by zoom. Zoom capabilities like defaulting your browser to 80% could still be achieved to fit your business needs. 

    Slow loading of content - I will review this and optimize where possible.

    one of my customer using the embeddable framework with SFDC connector, they are also using the softphone connector to share the logs and communicate the stages of the outbound calls in the campaign via softphone connector.

    we have many customers using the same with SNOW too.

    does this change, warrants the modifications on the softphone connector and SFDC / SNOW side to continue .. ?

    @Fegy Simon With this change your customers/agents would view the Interaction Window in this new experience. If your customers do not use the interaction window that it is no change for you: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/interaction-window-in-embedded-clients/ 

    However it would be my advice to check with your softphone connector vendor to ensure on their end. Since we do not track all the changes that they may have implemented.

    We are looking for the Copilot resize option in the new interaction window, similar to what is available in the Genesys Cloud web client.

    Our knowledge articles tend to be quite large, so having the "Large" view option is especially important for usability. Can you confirm if this feature is included in the latest upgrade?

    Hi Rajkumar, 

    The ability to resize is not an option in the new version of the Interaction Window.

    There is one common theme that we align with for all of our embedded clients and that is to keep these applications as small as possible so that not to restrict the agents from viewing vital information within the third party system. We have worked with the GC component teams to ensure all functionality remains available in the small size. Customers who need the components in a large size would benefit from the Genesys Cloud client.

    With a glance into the future.. we are looking at ways to take individual GC Components and embed them into your third party system as an iframe. This would allow the customer to decide the allocated size, and in your case render GC Copilot in a large form.

    Just to confirm-is Copilot available as an individual component that can be either:

    1. Opened in a new browser tab, or

    2. Embedded as an iframe within other client-side applications

    so that we can render it in a larger view? This would significantly help our agents when working with detailed or lengthy knowledge articles.

    If this approach is supported, could you please share more details or documentation on how to implement it?

    We are aiming for this Composable Desktop initiative to be released in early 2026.

    There will soon be marketing documentation that will be made available to give you an insight into what this will look like.

    AI powered modular UIs will be available on initial delivery: Copilot, Scripts, After Call Work/Wrap up.

    Interaction Notes panel is not part of this feature. With this solution embedded in your third party environment, the notes are usually stored within the third party object. The Embeddable Framework offers Interaction logging to store details like these.

    Clients use Genesys Cloud for Chrome with non-standard CRM solutions and don't have the ability to fully use the Embedded Framework features.  Keeping notes in Genesys is still a need.

    We are currently migrating one of our business units from the Genesys native UI into CRM using the embedded client. We are receiving consistent negative feedback from agents regarding the speed of the Interaction window loading. On average, it takes about 20 seconds to fully load, which delays the actual conversation with the customer after the Web Messenger interaction is answered.

    I came across this idea which brought me here to the forum.

    Could you please confirm whether the performance improvements planned with the new UI release will also address the slow loading of the Interaction window?

    I also wanted to mention that I have just submitted a request to join the Beta testing program, so that we can directly verify the new UI in regard to page loading speed.

    Our customer has recently integrated Genesys Cloud with Dynamics 365 using a third-party connector. They are currently experiencing an issue where the Agent Co-Pilot does not automatically pop up during interactions.

    At present, agents are required to manually select the Co-Pilot script from the embedded client, which is not ideal, as the customer conversation has often already started by the time the script is opened.

    Could you please confirm whether this behaviour is expected with the current embedded framework, and whether it is anticipated to be addressed in the upcoming UI updates for the embedded framework?

    Any guidance on interim best practices or recommended workarounds would also be appreciated.

    Thomas, Can you share your thoughts in how realistic this Beta release is datewise? This because the start date of the Beta program has already shifted over half a year and multiple times. Or can you elaborate why that has happened / why that will not happen for the upcoming scheduled date?

    Refering to a situation after release in my humble opinion is not a very strong one, since releasing it in Beta does not assure anybody it will be succesfull or that what will be released is exactly the same.,
