    Hi, We are trying to send a message using

    /api/v2/conversations/messages/...........................…...../communications/.....................…...…/messages

    and we are getting this response

    { "status": 403, "code": "missing.permissions", "message": "Unable to perform the requested action. You are missing the following permission(s): [conversation:message:create]" }

    How do we fix this, where can we find conversation:message:create. We are doing this in developer tools

    You need to add the specified permission to a role assigned to your user, log out, and log back in.

    Hi Tim, Have looked for the role permission conversation:message:create, where can you find this as I have looked for it

    If you don't have the permission available to assign in your org, you have not purchased the messaging feature. Your sales rep will be able to take you through the purchasing process.

    Thanks very much so you need Purecloud 3. Looks like things are moving away from Purecloud 2

    I wouldn't say things are moving away from PureCloud2, but some features rely on other features that are only available under the PureCloud3 license.

    In this case, my understanding is that there is a separate product feature for messaging that must be enabled (purchased) for your org. Once the feature is purchased, users must be licensed at the PureCloud3 level to use the feature.
