I thought there was a DELETE Recording by ID Method exposed in the API. Can you confirm if that was removed or if there is another way to delete recordings through the API.

I don't believe there was ever a resource to delete recordings. The correct way to remove recordings is by adjusting the retention policies. That can be done per recording using PUT /api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/recordings/{recordingId}.
