    Hello, in reference to : Disconnect Type and Segment Type Descriptions

    We never got an update to the questions, they are very valid doubts, Is there a document with a detailed answer to this?

    We are in data mapping sessions and have some questions. As part of the mapping we are investigating the descriptions of all the segmentTypes and disconnectTypes to be expected within the Conversation Async Results. We have similar issues to reach definitions for the highlighted\red in the attached screenshot. Any help you can provide in defining these better would be greatly appreciated.

    • segmentType

    (string) The activity that takes place in the segment, such as hold or interact. Valid values: alert, callback, contacting, converting, delay, dialing, hold, interact, ivr, scheduled, sharing, system, transmitting, unknown, uploading, voicemail, wrapup.

    • disconnectType

    (string) The session disconnect type. Valid values: client, conferenceTransfer, consultTransfer, endpoint, error, forwardTransfer, noAnswerTransfer, notAvailableTransfer, other, peer, spam, system, timeout, transfer, transportFailure, uncallable.

    I believe the situation is the same; segment type and disconnect type values are not documented anywhere. You can request new features and share your use case at https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/. If you need assistance understanding the data in a specific conversation, please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate as we do not have access to your org's data via the forum.
