    We are in the process of implementing WebRTC using Media Helper running outside of our VDI. Our home-grown CRM solution runs on our VDI and uses the embedded framework with Genesys soft phone. When we use the embedded soft phone with WebRTC, it throws an error saying "WebRTC phone could not find or access microphone". It does not impact the WebRTC helper but it does prevent the VDI from acting as a backup audio path. This error only occurs with the embedded client and does not impact the native genesys phone.

    Any ideas how to enable audio within the embedded framework?

    Thanks John - I have been over both of these articles already and am still not able to resolve the error. One thing I should add is that we are seeing this error even when we access Genesys Directly without using media helper or the VDI.

    The issue would seem to be between the WebRTC phone and the Embedded client.
