We had the same issue with a customer of us. We are awaiting for feedback from customer if the issue is still present but wanted to check in this topic if some resolutions were already identified.

We are experiencing the same issue. And users who went back to the regular French version are automatically sent back to the French Canadian version when rebooting. We are still unable to customize the translations for the secondary statuses.

This morning, all of our agents that were using the French Language were automatically switched (Very bad Idea for a beta) to the French Canadian (Beta) Language.
Here are the issues we are having with this language so far:
1: Status: All the secondary status are now called as the primary as there is no ways to localize to "French Canadian":


2: Dashboards: Some items in the dashboards are not showing correctly.:
