Hi all, I have integrated Genesys cloud to Servicenow REST API with basic auth and it works well. However, the customer doesn't consider this secure enough and they want OAUTH2 authentication. I can set up the Servicenow side of it to generate a clientid and clientsecret but I am not sure how the integration must be configured when selecting the "user defined (oauth) option instead of basic authentication. The steps are clear with basic auth type but with oauth I see field name and value pairs but I am not sure what is expected for those fields. Any help is welcome, Zsolt

You can find more information about configuring OAuth for data actions here: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/how-to-use-the-user-defined-oauth-credential-type/

Thanks Tim, that document helped to understand the background (having 2 data actions). Oauth2 works now with Servicenow. Zsolt
