    Welcome to the Genesys Community!

    The Genesys Community is a place to ask questions, share knowledge, solve problems and connect with others. 

    These guidelines outline a few simple ways we can keep the community helpful, welcoming and trusted. They support the Genesys Community Terms and Conditions. 

    Share with purpose 

    • Share information that is relevant, accurate and useful. Ask clear questions and include enough context for others to respond. Brief, repetitive or off-topic posts may be removed.

    • Before posting, search for similar questions to help avoid duplicate content. Consolidate similar topics into one post so others can follow and respond easily.

    • If you find your answer outside of the Community, consider sharing the resolution in your thread to help others in the future. 

    • Casual conversation is welcome in spaces created for it. 

    Share responsibly 

    • Profile, images, posts, comments and other content should support the purpose of the Genesys Community. Avoid using the community to promote commercial, political, religious or social causes that are unrelated to that purpose.

    • You may use artificial intelligence (AI) to support your contributions. You are responsible for checking the content for accuracy, relevance, privacy and originality. Sharing sources is always encouraged and appreciated.

    • Protect personal, confidential, proprietary and security-sensitive information. Review screenshots, recordings, attachments and examples before posting. When necessary, use test data or remove sensitive details. 

    Use community features fairly 

    • Points, badges and Best Answers recognize genuine, valuable, and consistent contributions.

      • Select Best Answer for the response that most accurately and completely resolves the original question. Best Answer is generally not needed for welcome, casual, social or open-ended discussions.

      • Do not engage in or coordinate activity to artificially increase reactions, points, badges, ranks, Best Answers or program status.  

    • Moderators may adjust recognition when needed to support the intended purpose of a community feature. 

    Help us care for the community 

    • Report content or behavior that may conflict with these guidelines or the Terms and Conditions by selecting "Report as Inappropriate" on a community post or emailing GenesysCommunity@genesys.com.

    • Moderators help keep the community useful, organized and safe. They may move, edit, merge, close or remove content, adjust recognition, request profile changes or limit participation when needed. You may request clarification or a review by emailing GenesysCommunity@genesys.com. 

    A shared responsibility 

    The Genesys Community grows stronger when members contribute with curiosity, empathy and a genuine desire to help. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping make the Genesys Community a place where everyone can learn and grow. 

    The Genesys Community team may update these guidelines periodically. This page was last updated August 19, 2026.

    Well said Ami!

    I believe that, just as citizens have responsibilities to maintain a healthy and respectful society, the same applies here in the community.

    The community is a great place to seek technical support, but I also really enjoy interacting with other people. Keeping the environment healthy and welcoming is important so we can maintain that interaction and not drive people away.

    It's everyone's responsibility to help keep the Genesys Community organized, healthy, and welcoming.
