I have been thinking during the last few months about the impact that AI is having on all our life to various extend. One topic which is discussed is the way that #AI will be able to replace human activity. I thought that, as we are developing more and more tools using AI (LLM, LAM, Agent AI, A2A ...) we may also adopt the thinking that AI will be able to replace human.
I read articles about it and, while I am exited about what AI is able and will be able to do in the future, they are a lot of misconception shared by the media that can scare people outside our business: The idea of an AI-ruled future. However, human remain unique. We possess the capacity to make sound decisions in complex, 'zero-precedent' situations where no rulebook exists. While AI is essentially a sophisticated engine for predicting the future based on the past, humans can navigate the unknown. We can take the 'proper' path in situations we have never encountered before. That distinction is what makes us fundamentally different.
I told you it was philosophical because I think it is interesting to see how we are.... different as human.
What do you think? ....
