    Today is Earth Day and in honor of our global mother earth, I wanted to ask you: 

    What green initiatives do you take part in to make a difference?

    Recycling

    Upcycling

    Cycling at the gym where the energy is turned into Green Energy.

    Basically anything with the cycle in it. :)

    I try to do small things consistently to reduce my impact. I separate my recycling, avoid single-use plastics when possible, and always carry a reusable water bottle. I also try to save energy by turning off lights and unplugging devices when I'm not using them.

    I recycle, make sure my kids and husband don't leave lights on around the house, we installed solar panels, I try to go around the neighborhood regularly with a big home depot bucket and one of those grabber-arms and pick up trash.

    I'm going green by turning off lights in empty rooms. My kids apparently think we're running a theme park called Electricity Land.

    I've also embraced sustainability by running a full‑time lost‑sock rescue program. The planet may not notice, but my washing basket does. :)

    I try to recycle and upcycle anything that I can. I also have solar panels on my house, and plant lots of pollinators around my yard and garden. During the day, I try to turn off any lights or other electronics that aren't needed to reduce electricity usage.

    1. Recycling is one of the "easiest" initiatives we can participate during our dayto-day activities at home. Is not very common in my city as most people don't want to pay extra for the especial trash collection. 

    2. Avoid using single-use plastics when possible - at the office I have  my own coffee mug; I do bring my own water bottle everywhere 

    3. Savings with AC / lamps - little relief in my power bill

    Reduce, reuse, recycyle!  Also, lately, I've been trying not to support my gas & electric company and have been living in darkness mostly with just one ambient light and lots of blankets!  And I follow everyone from room to room turning lights off!

    I should answer too! I live in a coastal area so we are involved in beach cleanups once a month and also part of the "Plastic Oceans Project" which helps spread awareness of keeping trash out of our waters.

    2. Try use non-recyclable items based on demand and don't use if not required.
