That sounds like a perfect Easter to be honest, sometimes the quieter ones are exactly what you need to recharge.
And completely agree - those messy moments usually end up being the ones you remember most!

I had a quieter Easter this time, and honestly I really enjoyed that.
It was a good opportunity to slow down a bit, recharge, and just enjoy a more peaceful moment. I did not do anything too different or adventurous, but sometimes that is exactly what we need.
And yes, there was definitely some chocolate involved, so Easter was properly celebrated.
Painting eggs with the kids sounds like a lot of fun, and messy moments like that usually become the best memories.

Hope everyone had a really lovely break! 🐰🐣
Whether it was full of family time, catching up with friends or just a chance to slow down a bit - hopefully there was at least some chocolate involved 😄
We kept things nice and simple this year - spent time with the kids painting eggs (a bit messy, but worth it!) and then rounded it off with a cosy family movie night watching Zootropolis 2, which went down really well in our house.
It got me thinking how everyone has their own little traditions…
What did you get up to over Easter?
Did you stick to traditions, try something new or just enjoy a well-earned rest?
And I'm always open to recommendations - especially any good family films we should add to the list for next time
Would love to hear what everyone else got up to - drop yours below 👇
