We are looking for an option to integrate payment gateway with Genesys to make use in call flow. Many documents emphasize the necessity of configuring a secure flow to collect card details reliably. Does this imply the requirement to manually gather card details and initiate a REST API call to the payment gateway , or does Genesys offer built-in support for payment gateway integration? Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate comprehensive documentation on this matter. The existing resources primarily provide a high-level overview of the IVR payment flow without detailing the specific implementation steps. Any assistance or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You are correct; the idea is that within a secure IVR flow, you will utilize a data action marked as "secure" to perform a REST API call (calls) into the payment processors platform. The use case is kept intentionally vague to serve more as inspiration for what can be done, as opposed to being a concrete set of implementation instructions.
