Hi,
Ok.... so let me try to explain what I'm after...the best way is to describe how I see it should work...
- Customer Call our 0800 number
- Customer driven thru an inbound flow using IVR
- During the inbound flow we play a message to the customer
- Customer reply back and the system capture the reply message (voice)
- The voice message is sent to our back end systems thru the bridge server (e.g., for audit control)
How can I make it happen step 4 and 5, meaning how can capture just the voice reply to the customer, transform to a VoiceXML and send it to our back end system thru the bridge server.
If during the inbound flow we could get the message and set it to a variable (VoiceXML type?) and after call an action (bridge server connector) and set the variable as an input... is this possible?
Thanks
Regards Filipe Madelino

You can't record audio files in the IVR, but you can enable recording on the trunk. That recording will include the IVR segment of the call. You can use the Recordings APIs to retrieve the recordings.
