I had a challenge on what three emojis to choose to sum up my year so far, and I landed on:
🎢 🔥 🌱
🎢 The roller coaster - because this year has had more unexpected turns than I could have planned for. Career changes, relocation plans, job searching, and a whole lot of "well, this was not what I had on the bingo card."
🔥 The fire - because some seasons test what you are made of. Professionally and personally, this year has required resilience, adaptability, and the ability to keep moving even when the path was not especially clear.
🌱 The growth - because even in the middle of uncertainty, good things have still taken root. I published a book, started painting, kept learning, kept showing up, and kept reminding myself that change does not mean failure.
So I guess my year so far is: plot twist, pressure test, and new growth.
