I have been reviewing the API but haven't found a method to do what I want. I am wanting to, given a date range, return a list of all logins with userid, date time, it would return multiple results if the person logged in more than once. Even better would be some kind of audit trail of what they accessed.

We don't have audit details like that, but we do have presence details via the User Status Detail Query.

Not exactly what I am looking for,we are a partner and we have multiple support personnel accessing different customers via the trusted org method. We are looking for a way to audit access for compliance.
