Hi all,
So we have the following scenario:
agents use the purecloud softphone in the purecloud desktop app, but calls are being picked up through a custom made CRM program that runs on agent pc's (for case creation, logging,...). Tghis means we already need to logon that agent 2 times (purecloud client and in the CRM to receive the notifications).
Now for some extra management of certain flows we need teamleaders to be able to handle mails from a webapp. From what I have read, mail conversations cannot be handled when using client credentials as auth method, so we want users to login with their own account. This would mean a 3th login. In the webapp however we do not register to notifications, since we do not need it there. When reading the faq the main problem for multiple logins would be notifications failing. I assume we avoid the notification problem when we do not register for the notifications, is this correct? Are there still other potential issue's we have to take into account?

That FAQ only applies to the official PureCloud web application. There is not an inherent issue with the platform when using notifications or multiple logins; that limitation is specific to the official app because of the way it was designed.
