    What most people do not realize is that Mt. Fuji is one of the hardest mountains to get a good view of and is one of the hardest mountains to shoot as a landscape photographer. Mt. Fuji, on average, is only really visible about 80 days a year. My wife and I spend half our time in the States and the other half back home in Tokyo and we have gone months without seeing Fuji, even when we are right there visiting the family grave.
