Outbound call does not connect

    Hi I am trying to make an outbound call (not a conference call). I'm using the following endpoint: POST /api/v2/conversations/calls

    And sending the following data: { "type": "call", "phoneNumber": "5555555555", "callFromQueueId": "8f324359-6253-4c4f-a0f3-aeae27117d59" }

    The api call seems to be going through. However, the call never gets received. It shows that its dialing inside the purecloud app, however the call never actually goes through.. Am I missing something on this? Is there something that I need to configure within the purecloud admin maybe?

    If you are receiving a successful response from the API but the call is not successful, please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate. We do not have access to your org's data to investigate via the forum.

    I actually figured this out. In case this helps anybody: You need to go into your phone settings within the purecloud app and toggle:

    Placing calls with another app?
