    Summary

    As part of the upcoming Shared Contact List across Multiple Campaigns feature, we will be introducing a new campaign value to several Outbound Contacts APIs.

    Affected APIs

    The following APIs will include the new “campaign” field:

    • POST /api/v2/outbound/contactlists/{contactListId}/contacts/bulk

    New Field Details

    When the Shared Contact List across Multiple Campaigns feature is released, the following fields will include an additional campaign attribute to identify the campaign context:

    • callRecords
    • latestSmsEvaluations
    • latestEmailEvaluations
    • latestWhatsAppEvaluations

    Details

    This update supports the upcoming Shared Contact List across Multiple Campaigns capability.

    As contact lists can now be associated with more than one outbound campaign, contact activity (such as calls, messages, and evaluations) must be clearly attributed to the correct campaign. Adding the campaign field ensures accurate identification of the campaign context for each interaction.

    Customer Impact

    Additional data only: This is a non-breaking change. Existing API responses will continue to function as before, with the campaign field added to relevant objects.

    Improved visibility: Customers using shared contact lists will be able to clearly distinguish which campaign a call or message is associated with.

    No action required: Customers do not need to modify existing integrations unless they wish to consume the new campaign field.

    Optional adoption: Customers can choose to leverage the new field to enhance reporting, troubleshooting, or campaign-level analytics when sharing a single master list across multiple campaigns.

    How does this affect contact list Exports?   will there be new fields added?
