What is the significance of the startTime value when joining calls together using PATCH /api/v2/conversations/calls/{conversationId}
Does it have any affect on the calls and the participants? What value should it be? Does it matter if its in the past or in the future?

I'm pretty sure that's not valid. It doesn't make sense for the client to send startTime, endTime, divisions, or recentTransfers. Please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to report the incorrect API schema documentation.
