Summary
Following the removal of support for the deprecated Chat API v2 and Chat Widget in Genesys Predictive Engagement, action maps configured with Web Chat as the action type are no longer supported and will not be executed. As a result, action maps using this deprecated action type are now considered invalid and are scheduled for deletion.
While these action maps are already non-functional and their deletion will not cause additional disruption, customers who wish to retain them for future use or reference are strongly encouraged to update any impacted action maps by selecting a supporting action type as soon as possible. We recommend Web Messaging, available through our Messenger App, which provides both a native messaging user interface and a JavaScript SDK for building custom client experiences.
Additional information on Web Messaging, including a migration guide from Web Chat, is available here.

Details
We are announcing this deletion as part of our effort to improve overall platform usability and ensure a simplified experience when managing action maps. Removing outdated and non-functional action maps helps keep your workspace organized and focused on active configurations without unnecessary warnings in the interface, making it easier to create and edit action maps within platform limits.
Customer Impact
Action maps configured with Web Chat as the action type, which are already non-functional and no longer supported, will be automatically removed from the platform.
Action Map and Action Target APIs will no longer support Web Chat as an action type.
