  • 1.  Response XML Logs?

    Hi all, is there a way to get or view a response XML when you call an IVR that has a webservice data action in it? We can easily view it on the test tab for an action, but we would like to do test calls and we're not sure where those response XML data end up in Purecloud for retrieval after a call. Thanks in advance for any inputs! :slight_smile:

    Currently, responses to Data Actions must be valid JSON format.

    Thanks Smith_Rj, but what I meant was if we could somehow retrieve in the system the output of a certain call to a data action if you called to the IVR as we need those information for our test cases. You could easily view it if you used the Test tab in the data action itself, but we need to have our test cases performed as an actual call and we were just wondering if the response data ends up somewhere in the system (logs?) that we can retrieve afterwards.

    A couple of possibilities come to mind.

    While testing you could add one or more play audio steps where you have the results of the data action spoken to the caller.

    You could "Set Participant Data" to persist the information that the Data Action returned.
