I'm looking to get an explanation of how some of the Roles/Permissions in PureCloud work. After talking to support, they explained that there a number of roles that cannot be renamed because they are tied to different dashboard/reporting views. They said this role-name based functionality is supposed to removed in the future.
Is there a way to identify currently what roles cannot be changed, because they are tied to name-based functionality? I am trying to cleanup our organizations permissions, and seeing these essentially blank roles is pretty confusing.
Second question - if there is functionality tied to the exact name of these roles, why do I have the ability to rename them?

Hi Jan,
There are only a few of these "legacy" roles. You should definitely keep these roles if you have them: admin agent employee integrationServer supervisor telephonyAdmin
We are in the process of removing the requirement to have roles with these names but I do not have a good ETA for you.
As for your second question: there is no good answer. Our ideal is that no roles are "special" in this way. However, since some are, you are correct that it's not a good idea to be able to rename them.
