To send information from Genesys to Lex bot V1 we can use Session Variables to send that information but I don't see any option to read Session variables within the Genesys flow.
I want to update the value of that Session variables on a lambda function called within the Lex bot and read the updated value on the Genesys flow but it seems that these variable are only used to send information.
Can anyone confirm this? is it possible to read the session variables within the flow? How can I share information from the lambda to the Gensys flow? Is there any other option beyond using slots?
Thank you,

Currently we do not capture the session variables but it is something we could consider adding. I would suggest opening an idea on the ideas lab with use case details and we can use it to track demand.

Thank you Rebecca! I will follow your suggestion and create the idea. I understand that the only way to send information from Lex to Genesys is through slots, is there any other way? I am thinking about calling an api from Lamba in Lex and provide part of the result of the call to Genesys but I don't see any other way to send this information than through slots, do you know any other way to share information?
