    I'm excited to announce Beta availability for Skills Based Dialing for Preview & Progressive Campaigns.  Skills based dialing is a tool that will allow several campaigns to be merged into one with specific records assigned to a skill in the contact list.  Only agents with this skill will have the contact routed to them for outbound calls.  If there is not an agent available at the time the records comes up in the list, we will set it aside until an agent with the skill becomes available.

    Enrollment is now open through September 22nd...

    Beta is planned to start September 20th and extend through the end of October (and possibly further).  Once accepted to the Beta, Genesys will enable Skills Based Dialing for Preview & Progressive for your organization when the Beta goes live.  We'll also provide a user guide, and add you to our private Beta community for sharing learnings and feedback.

    Hi Chad,

    Long time, no speak! I hope all is well with you.

    Anyway, this is excellent news, and very much anticipated. Can I ask if, when this goes GA (or at some point in the future), Power and Predictive modes will support Skill-Based dialing? As you know, this was a very popular feature in PureConnect, so....

    Hey Paul,

    We are going to release this in two phases so Power/Predictive modes will be a separate effort that we'll likely start beginning of next year.  The idea being we want the core functionality and associated views and real time information out in the wild to make sure that's up to par before tackling the more challenging task of reducing abandons for the higher paced modes.
