For this API, /api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/recordings/{recordingId}, there is a parameter called formatId. It allows for numerous types to export the recordings.
I have seen when calling it that it takes time because it is transcoding. So it returns 202 until the transcoding is complete.
My question is what format is the recording stored in PureCloud? Just curious which what the format is so that if we do a mass export, we select the format which would require no transcoding.

Additional question. I tested all of the formats available. All of them were Mono format. How do I setup PureCloud to store call recordings as Stereo?

Enable the Dual Channel setting when editing the trunk under External Trunk Configuration > Media > Recording:
