I went thru the tutorial for "UserPresence&ListenForNotifications". I have a few questions. I do not have a client id yet from the admin to try and set up this test; so I am reading up and trying to follow the best I can. I am a developer and not an admin. My goal is that I (my CRM) should be notified when an service desk agent picks up a call.
1. does this following statement pop up a login screen ?
pureCloudSession.login()
2. I am assuming that the login user id and password will be provided by admin team.
Once the agent logs in with his credentials, he can proceed to use the various APIs (user, presence and notifications)
3. If all I am interested is in getting notified when the agent picks up a call, then the only topic
I need to subscribe to is the conversations Topic ? Is that a correct statement ? Why should I bother with the presence and user APIs ?
4. Can some one put up java script code to show me as to how I can extract the phone number from the notification of the picked up call ?
5. So the sales desk person picks up the phone and talks to the customer; while the conversation is going on, what other conversation topic notifications can I possibly get.
Can someone post a few java script examples of such notifications?
6. when the sales desk person hangs up the phone, will I get another conversation topic notification ?.
Can someone post a java script example?

Once you are able to access PureCloud and can test these things out, let me know if you have further questions.
