We all have those long, busy days that leave us needing a reset…

I'm curious - what's your go-to way to recharge and unwind after a long day?

For me, it's something simple: I like to disconnect a bit, put on some music, and just relax. Sometimes even a quiet moment or a good conversation helps me feel re-energized.

For me it's usually something simple as well a short walk to clear my head, then switching off with some music or a show.

I also find stepping away from screens for a bit (even just 20–30 minutes) helps reset before jumping back into things.

Hi,

it will maybe sound a little odd, but for me it's mostly moving from work computer to personal computer and start working on personal stuff. 😁 Other than that going outside and do some manual work (doing something in the garage, working on garden). 😊

For recharging my batteries, I've been trying to replace doomscrolling with reading and teaching myself guitar! Guitar has been especially rewarding lately and is a nice way to relax and learn something new.

For me I turn off all notifications except from closest family for the night, and read a regular book before bedtime, a good afternoon walk, or excercise is something I'm making sure to include now that the days are getting longer :)

My go-to way to recharge after a long day is a mix of movement and disconnecting. I love practicing Kathak (indian classical dance)-it helps me reset mentally while staying connected to rhythm and expression. I'll often pair that with a good gym session to release any built-up stress.

It's that combination of activity and intentional downtime that really helps me feel refreshed.

When the pollen is gone, I like to sit on the porch swing and have a little quiet time with nature. No devices, no kids, just the birds or even some rain to listen to. A glass of  wine or whiskey helps too

During the day, something that has been helping me a lot is stepping away from screens for a while. I usually make a cup of coffee, grab a chair, and sit under the trees at home (I live in the countryside). Feeling the breeze and listening to the birds brings me a great sense of calm. Even if it's just 10 to 15 minutes, this moment is enough to clear my mind and return to my activities feeling lighter.
