I haven't set up a valcom system but the process should be similar to any other generic SIP device.
Are you registering it to a cloud site or a premises site?
Does the valcom meet the requirements found at the bottom of this page under those sections?

Note the certificate requirements. A few devices I worked with previously did not support this and we had to leave them as premises devices through a customer hardware edge.

Subject: Adding Valcom V-9972 Paging System
Good day all,
I'm in the UC phase of moving off of our Avaya system to Genesys. I am currently working on setting up a Valcom V-9972 paging system in Genesys. I do have it set up as a Generic SIP device. I have added the correct User Address, User, Password that was generated from the Generic SIP phone creation as well as the primary & Secondary Registrar using port 5061, transport TLS. I cannot get the device to register in Genesys Cloud.
I'm looking to replicate how it's used in Avaya, by dialing a 4-digit extension to access it and make pages.
Has anyone had any experience setting up a Valcom paging system in Genesys Cloud?
Thank you
