Hi Richard, something worth trying is having someone test this from your script while having the browser developer tools open and seeing maybe what could be throwing a 403 type error around permissions or something else that's blocking it.

Jan - everyone has access to be able to see the attachment i sent on the previous reply however when they go to send the SMS they are getting a spinning wheel and the SMS does not send. I have added the SMS to the Message tab in the queue configuration and selected the SMS script as the default message script. It is just the sending of the SMS that is the issue everything else looks fine. How would i add something to the number plan to enable them to send SMS from India or is this not required ?. I can send SMS messages to numbers in the UK from the UK.

The Data Action don't know where the agents are located unless you provide some agent specific information.
We usually use a 3rd party provider to send SMS via APIs and anyone who can access the Data Action can use that to send SMS.

Jan - it seems to be working for me and i am able to send an sms. The team who are wanting to send SMS messages are based offshore in India do you think it could be some dial plan issue where they are barred from sending these messages ?. I have attached a screen shot of the script below

The only Scripter permission I have on my agents are Scripter -> Published Script -> View which is default in the standard User role

Jan thanks for that. In the permissions i can see and have added Integrations>Actions> view, execute however when i search for Scripter>Script i can only see Delete, Edit, Search and view unfortunately there is no execute. The user is on a GX3 licence so should this be visible ?.

I have purchased a long code SMS number and set up an SMS action in Integrations with a number from , number to and message parameter in order to be able to send an SMS. I have produced a script which has a data action set up in order to be able to enter a message to the customer and enter the customers mobile number and then send an SMS. I am able to send it in the test environment however when i do it in a live environment with an agent with Team Member permissions i cannot send the text and i just get a spinning wheel. Does the agent need to have any permissions such as Conversations > Message > create or do i have to something else in addition to enable them to send the SMS ?.
